Foot Reflexology Certification Course
This course provides the student with the knowledge and skills
to build a professional Reflexology practice.
Part One (30 hours class, homework, written assessment)
Covers the theoretical principles of Reflexology and the techniques and
skills to practice Reflexology.
The written exam is scheduled about 1 month after classes have been completed.
Part Two (50 case studies, practical assessment)
Student gains experience by performing and documenting 50 case studies.
Student will arrange their own case studies - approximately 10-15 recipients
are needed.
The student meets with teacher upon completing 20 case studies to discuss experiences and further develop their understandings and skills.
The teacher is available by e-mail and telephone for consultation during this period.
Practical assessment upon completion of 50 case studies.

- Unit 4: Anatomy and Physiology of Body Systems; Foot Reflexology Map
- Unit 5: Assessing the Foot
- Unit 6: Working the Foot
- Unit 7: Recording the Session
- Unit 8: Care for the Practitioner
- Unit 9: Reflexology as a Profession
- Unit 10: Reflexology as a Business
- Unit 11: Case Studies (work with practice clients outside of class)
Each class session includes a balance of hands-on, auditory and visual learning opportunities.
Course Standards
The curriculum taught by RTO is a Ministry approved college level course and also meets the standards and guidelines of the
Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario.
Continuing Education Units
This course qualifies for 52.5 CEUs for the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
